Riding Basics (Really Basic!)

Riding and working with horses is not so simple, you can't just put it into basic terms like "Riding basics." But this will help you understand some basic rules and things, that you : Should, and should not do around horses, and rules that are cannot, and can.

Rules :
You should NEVER walk under a horse.
You should ALWAYS let a horse know when you are coming towards its hind quarters from behind.
You should ALWAYS groom a horses back and belly thoroughly before tacking up.
You should NEVER jump up and down, and side to side, around a horse.
You should NEVER run up behind a horse, or around a horse period.
You should ALWAYS make sure your girth or cinch is tight before mounting.
You should clean your tack after every ride, but at LEAST once a month.
You MUST ALWAYS mount, dismount, and lead FROM THE LEFT!

And those are just some basic rules!
